Look for water, oil or fuel in
the engine compartment.
Drain, if necessary.
Look for signs of leaking fuel
or oil in the engine
compartment.
Check the fire extinguisher is
properly secured in its
compartment. Check for
damage. Make sure the
locking pin and sealing wire
are in place. Check the
pressure gauge and expiration
date.
Check that there is no
sticking or looseness when
turning the handlebar.
Check the freeplay and adjust
if necessary. Pull the throttle
lever to make sure it moves
smoothly without sticking,
and snaps shut automatically
when it is released, in all
steering positions.
