Refer to Safety Precautions on page 104.
The bilge system, which drains water from
the engine compartment, should be flushed
periodically according to the Maintenance
Schedule, or whenever blockage is suspected.
Be sure to remove the lock clip from the
engine stop button/switch.
1. Remove the seat (page 117), rear cover
(page 113), and the rear tray (page 114) to
access the engine compartment.
2. Push out the bilge strainer (1) while sliding
it.
