10 ID No. button Selects or changes the ID number (page 34).
Also used to switch the display to the set up
condition of the ID number (page 34).
11 ID SET button Enters or cancels the ID number.
Also used to activate the ID lock system.
12 multi-function meter The meter includes the following functions:
digital clock (
) Shows hour and minute (page 32).
tachometer
Shows engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
time meter ( ) Shows the hours and minutes of engine operation
since you last reset the meter. To reset the time
meter to zero (0), press and hold the SET button.
tripmeter (
) Shows the number of miles ridden since you last
reset the meter. To reset the tripmeter to zero (0),
press and hold the SET button.
hourmeter Shows the total hours of engine operation.
Check the hourmeter to determine when the next
scheduled maintenance is due.

If the battery is disconnected, the digital clock, tripmeter, and time meter will reset.
