Gable Siding Installation

Step 60: Mark siding 8” from top of wall on both ends of gable wall

and snap a chalk line as shown.

Step 61: Starting with overlap at

front, lay out gable siding pieces

as shown.

Note: There is a left and right

for end gable siding pieces.

Step 62: Install first gable siding piece, keeping piece aligned at

ends and with chalk lines as shown.

Note: Siding grooves should also align with grooves on wall.

Step 63: Install pre-cut gable sid-

ing brace at siding splice and fas-

ten siding to brace as shown.

Step 63 cont. Step 64: Install remaining gable siding pieces repeating previous

steps. Repeat on opposite gable wall.
