Rafter Installation

Step 56: Mark off wall every 2 ft.

on center.

Step 57: Install first end rafter making sure gusset is facing inside.

Keep rafter flush with edge of gable wall (outside surface of siding).

Make sure you are installing an end rafter with only one gusset.

Step 58: After rafter is aligned with edge of wall and edge of soffit piece, fasten soffit

to rafter and tonail rafter into top of wall.

Step 59: Install remaining rafters by aligning center of rafter with 2 ft. marks.
