Step 48: Put a nail in

each corner of window

(4 total) and out through

siding.

Step 49: Use nails to

snap 4 lines to mark

window outline.

Step 50: Use a skill saw to cut out window open-

ing.

Note: Remove nails prior to cutting.

Front & Back Soffit Installation

Step 51: Measure down 5-1/4” from top of wall and snap a line as shown.

Step 52: Install 1”x3”x8’ soffit strip aligning bottom of strip with top of line as shown. Fasten siding to

strip. Repeat on back wall.
