Step 26: Window Layout should
look like this.
Step 27: The wall is now ready
for siding installation.
Step 28: Lay out front siding piec-
es as shown.
Left side of door: 11-7/8”x85”
Top of door: (2) 4’x11-3/4”
Right side of door: 4’x85”
Right side: 11-3/4”x85”
Step 29: Begin with siding pieces
on either side of door, keeping
1/2” away from edge of door
opening. Nail siding piece across
top only and only one nail at
bottom doorway corner of sid-
ing piece.
Note: Left side of door should
have siding overlap.
Note: Right side of door should
have siding underlap.
Step 30: Install 11-3/4”x4’ siding
piece at top of door way - nail
across top only.
Step 31: Before nailing rest of
siding, make sure that door open-
ing is square. Door is square
when corner to corner diagonal
measurements are equal.
