Step 56: Make a mark at both ends of wall even with bottom of sid-

ing and snap a line. Hammer 4 nails spaced approximately 2 apart

on line. Do not hammer nails all the way in, keep out 3/4”.

Step 58: Install 20”x85” sheet of siding by resting it on nails along

bottom. Align siding piece at top and end of back stud wall, siding

splice should fall on the center of wall stud.

Step 60: Install remaining siding pieces repeating previous steps. If

needed, cut last siding piece flush with front of wall.

Sidewall Siding Installation

Step 57: Layout two

4’x85”siding sheets and one

20”x85” sheet as shown.

Step 61: Repeat steps on

opposite wall, starting with

4’x85” sheet with overlap

towards front of wall.

Step 59: Make sure siding

aligns properly at edge of wall.

Nail off siding every 8” using

7p 2-1/4” galvanized nails.
