Allgemeine Systeminformation zu Homematic 3 Allgemeine Systeminformation zu Homematic Dieses Gerät ist Teil des Homematic Haussteuersystems und arbeitet mit dem bidirektionalen Homematic Funkprotokoll. Alle Geräte werden mit einer Standardkonfiguration ausgeliefert. Darüber hinaus ist die Funktion des Gerätes über eine Software konfigurierbar.
Funktion 5 Funktion Die Homematic Zentrale CCU2 übernimmt als zentrales Element des Homematic-Systems vielfältige Steuer-, Kontroll- und Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten für alle Geräte in Ihrer Installation. Die Bedienung der Zentrale erfolgt komfortabel am PC über die Homematic Bedienoberfläche WebUI, für die Sie lediglich einen Standard-Webbrowser benötigen.

Inbetriebnahme 7 Inbetriebnahme 7.1 Wandmontage Bitte verwenden Sie für die Wandmontage die zwei mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübel. Stellen Sie bei der Auswahl des Montageortes und beim Bohren in der Nähe vorhandener Schalter oder Steckdosen sicher, dass in der Wand keine Leitungen verlaufen. Montieren Sie die Zentrale nicht in der Nähe anderer Störquellen (z. B. WLAN- oder DSL-Router). Hinweise zur Störungsbeseitigung finden Sie in Abschnitt 10.
Inbetriebnahme J J 7.2 Zentrale mit dem Netzwerk verbinden • Ziehen Sie zunächst die Abdeckkappe nach oben von der Zentrale ab. • Schließen Sie die Zentrale mit dem mitgelieferten Netzwerkkabel (I) an Ihren DSL-Router bzw. an Ihr Kabelmodem an.
Systemanforderungen 7.3 Zentrale an die Stromversorgung anschließen Um Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden, benutzen Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Originalnetzteil der CCU2 für die Stromversorgung (5VDC/ 1500 mA). • Schließen Sie das beiliegende Netzteil (F) an die Zentrale an und stecken Sie es in die Steckdose. Das Gerät darf nur an eine frei zugängliche Netz-Steckdose angeschlossen werden. Bei Gefahr ist der Netzstecker zu ziehen. Ihre Zentrale ist jetzt für die Inbetriebnahme bereit.
Erster Start der WebUI Bedienoberfläche 9 Erster Start der WebUI Bedienoberfläche 9.1 WebUI aufrufen Sie benötigen die Homematic Bedienoberfläche WebUI, um Homematic Geräte softwarebasiert und komfortabel • • • steuern und konfigurieren, direkt mit anderen Geräten verknüpfen oder in Zentralenprogrammen nutzen zu können. Der Zugriff auf die Bedienoberfläche erfolgt über einen Webbrowser (vgl. Abschnitt 7).
Erster Start der WebUI Bedienoberfläche 9.2 IP-Adresse Ihrer Homematic Zentrale Mithilfe einer Homematic Zusatz-Software können Sie sich die IP-Adresse Ihrer Zentrale anzeigen lassen. Zum Download der Software gehen Sie wie folgt vor: • Öffnen Sie die Website www.homematic.com. • Laden Sie sich im Downloadbereich die Zip-Datei des Tools „Homematic Netfinder“ herunter und entpacken Sie alle drei Dateien an gewünschter Stelle (z. B. auf dem Desktop).

Dafür gehen Sie wie folgt vor: • Klicken Sie in der Bedienoberfläche auf Einstellungen Systemsteuerung. • Klicken Sie anschließend auf „Zeit- und Positionseinstellung“.
Erster Start der WebUI Bedienoberfläche • Stellen Sie im nächsten Fenster das Datum und die Uhrzeit ein und klicken Sie auf „Uhrzeit übernehmen“. Alternativ können Sie die Uhrzeit vom PC übernehmen. Klicken Sie dafür auf „Zeit vom PC übernehmen“. • Klicken Sie anschließend auf „Zurück“. 9.4 Updates installieren Bevor Sie Ihre WebUI nutzen können, prüfen Sie Ihr System auf verfügbare Updates und installieren Sie diese.

Dieser Vorgang kann einige Minuten dauern.
Rück- und Fehlermeldungen durch die Geräte-LED Sollten Sie Ihre Zentrale ohne Internetverbindung nutzen, wird Ihnen auf der Startseite Ihrer WebUI angezeigt, ob Sie die aktuellste Version verwenden. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, können Sie die notwendigen Dateien für ein Update im Downloadbereich der Website www.homematic.com herunterladen und anschließend installieren. 9.5 Geräte anlernen und System konfigurieren Ihre Homematic Zentrale ist jetzt für das Anlernen von Geräten bereit.

Dazu werden zusätzliche Gerätetreiber benötigt. Um diese zu installieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: • Verbinden Sie zunächst Ihre Zentrale über das beiliegende USBKabel mit Ihrem PC. Hinweise zur Störungsbeseitigung • Geben Sie anschließend die URL „10.101.82.51“ in Ihren Internetbrowser ein und Sie gelangen auf die WebUI Bedienoberfläche. 11.2 Recovery System Das Rettungssystem (Recovery System) wird nur benötigt, wenn die Software der Zentrale beschädigt wurde. Dies kann beispielsweise auftreten, wenn während eines Software-Updates die Stromversorgung unterbrochen wurde.

Nachdem das Recovery System gestartet wurde, blinken alle LEDs gleichzeitig. • Über die Eingabe der Adresse „http://homematic-ccu2“ in Ihrem Webbrowser gelangen Sie auf die Startseite des Recovery Systems. • Laden Sie zunächst die aktuelle Installationsdatei der Software auf der Website www.homematic.com im Downloadbereich herunter.
Hinweise zur Störungsbeseitigung die Installationsdatei aus. • Klicken Sie anschließend auf „Start Recovery“, um die Software wieder herzustellen. Nachdem die Software wieder hergestellt wurde, müssen Sie sich erneut an der Zentrale anmelden. Anschließend steht der volle Funktionsumfang Ihrer Zentrale zur Verfügung. Über den Button „Factory reset“ können Sie Ihre Zentrale in den Werkszustand zurücksetzen. Alle Konfigurationen, Einstellungen und Programmierungen werden dabei gelöscht.
Erweiterung der Speicherkapazität funkintensive Anlernprozesse der Fall sein. Eine Überschreitung des Duty Cycle Limits wird durch Blinken Ihres Homematic-Gerätes angezeigt und kann sich durch temporär fehlende Funktion des Gerätes äußern. Wartung und Reinigung 13 Wartung und Reinigung Das Produkt ist wartungsfrei. Überlassen Sie eine Wartung oder Reparatur einer Fachkraft. Reinigen Sie das Produkt mit einem weichen, sauberen, trockenen und fusselfreien Tuch. Für die Entfernung von stärkeren Verschmutzungen kann das Tuch leicht mit lauwarmem Wasser angefeuchtet werden. Verwenden Sie keine lösemittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel, das Kunststoffgehäuse und die Beschriftung kann dadurch angegriffen werden.

The device may only be operated indoors and must be protected from the effects of moisture, vibrations, solar or other methods of heat radiation, cold and mechanical loads. The device is not a toy; do not allow children to play with it. Do not leave packaging material lying around. Plastic films/ bags, pieces of polystyrene, etc. can be dangerous in the hands of a child.
General system information about Homematic 3 General system information about Homematic This device is part of the Homematic home control system and works with the bidirectional BidCoS® wireless protocol. All devices are supplied with a standard configuration. The functionality of the device can be configured using software.
Function 5 Function The Homematic CCU2 Central Control Unit is the central element of your Homematic system, offering a whole range of control, monitoring and configuration options for all the devices in your installation. The Central Control Unit is easy to operate using the Homematic user interface, WebUI, on your PC, for which you only need a standard web browser.

Start-up 7 Start-up 7.1 Wall mounting Please use the two screws and plugs supplied for wall mounting. When selecting a mounting location and drilling in the vicinity of switches or socket outlets, make sure that there are no cables in the wall. Do not mount the Central Control Unit in the vicinity of other sources of interference (e.g. WLAN or DSL routers). For notes on rectifying malfunctions, see Section 10.
Start-up J J 7.2 Connecting the Central Control Unit to the network • First pull the cap up and off the Central Control Unit. • Connect the Central Control Unit to your DSL router or cable modem using the network cable supplied (I).
System requirements 7.3 Connecting the Central Control Unit to the power supply For the power supply, only use the CCU2 original power supply unit (5 V DC/1500 mA) delivered with the device in order to avoid damaging the device. • Attach the supplied power supply unit (F) to the Central Control Unit and plug it into the socket outlet. The device may only be connected to a freely accessible power socket outlet. The mains plug must be pulled out if a hazard occurs.

You need it to carry out the following tasks: • • • Controlling and configuring Homematic devices Connecting Homematic devices directly to other devices Using Homematic devices in the central programs You access the user interface via a web browser (see Section 7).
Starting the WebUI user interface for the first time 9.2 IP address of your Homematic Central Control Unit You can use additional Homematic software to display the IP address of your Central Control Unit. To download the software, proceed as follows: • Open the website www.homematic.com. • Download the zip file of the “Homematic Netfinder” tool from the downloads area and unzip all three files at the desired location (e.g. on the desktop). • Please check if „Java“ is installed on your computer.
Starting the WebUI user interface for the first time If you do not have an Internet connection, the date and time must be set manually. To do this, proceed as follows: Control Panel in the user interface. • Click on Settings • Then click on “Time and position“.

To do this, click on “Get time from computer”. • Then click on “Back”. 9.4 Installing updates Before you can use your WebUI, you must check your system for available updates and install them.
Starting the WebUI user interface for the first time To install an update, proceed as follows: Control Panel in the user interface. • Click on Settings • Then click on “CCU maintenance”.
Starting the WebUI user interface for the first time • Carry out steps 1-4 in the “Software update” field: • Step 1: First click on the “Download” button to save the software installation files to your PC. • Step 2: Select the downloaded software. • Step 3: Click on “Upload” to load the software to your Central Control Unit. This process may take a few minutes. • Step 4: As soon as the software installation file is on your Central Control Unit, confirm the update using the “Start update” button.
Information and error messages indicated by the device LEDs 9.5 Teaching in devices and configuring the system Your Homematic Central Control Unit is now ready for devices to be taught-in. You will then be able to use WebUI to control your devices, configure them, connect them directly to other devices, or use them in central programs. Please refer to the WebUI operating manual for more details (you can find this in the Downloads area of the website www.homematic.com).

Additional device drivers are required to do this. To install these, proceed as follows: • First connect your Central Control Unit to your PC using the USB cable supplied. Once the recovery system has been started, all LEDs flash at the same time. • Entering “http://homematic-ccu2” in your web browser will take you to the homepage of the recovery system. • First download the latest installation file for the software from the Downloads area of the website www.homematic.com.

You can reset your Central Control Unit to the factory settings using the “Factory reset” button. This will delete all configurations, settings and programming. You can reset just the network settings to the factory settings of the Central Control Unit using the “Reset network settings” button. 11.
Increasing memory capacity 12 Increasing memory capacity The Central Control Unit memory can be increased using the microSD card slot. This increase in memory is used to store future additions involving, for example, measured data. To increase the memory capacity, insert a microSD card into the slot provided on your Central Control Unit for this purpose.
