5 Mounting
For operation of the floor heating controller with
24 V, a 24 V/50Hz power supply is required. We
recommend you to use the Homematic IP Trans-
former for Floor Heating Controllers – 24 V
(HmIP-FAL24-TR).
When using the floor heating controller
in combination with the Homematic IP
Transformer for floor heating controllers – 24 V
(HmIP-FAL24-TR), it is recommended to install the device
on the supplied DIN rail. For mounting the floor heating
controller and the transformer to a DIN rail, please
proceed as follows:
• Please select a suitable mounting location close
to your heating manifold.
Make sure that no electricity or similar lines run in
the wall at this location!
• Use a pen to mark two bore holes for mounting
the DIN rail on the wall.
• Use an appropriate drill to make the holes as illus-
trated.
• Fasten the screws and plugs supplied to mount
the DIN rail.
