8 Restore factory settings

The factory settings of the device can be re-

stored. If you do this, you will lose all your set-

tings.

To restore the factory settings of the window / door con-

tact, please proceed as follows:

• Pull the cap (D) o the electronic unit (B) (see

ﬁgure 2).

• Remove the (old) battery.

• Insert the battery ensuring that the polarity is cor-

rect and press and hold down the system but-

ton (E) for 4s at the same time, until the LED will

quickly start ﬂashing orange (see ﬁgure 4).

• Release the system button again.

• Press and hold down the system button again for

4s, until the status LED lights up green.

• Release the system button to ﬁnish the proce-

dure.

The device will perform a restart.
