8 Restore factory settings

Thez factory settings of the device can be

restored. If you do this, you will lose all your

settings.

To restore the factory settings of the window / door con-

tact, please proceed as follows:

• Pull the cap (D) o the electronic unit (B). There-

fore, press the latch of the cover downwards and

pull down the cover afterwards (see ﬁg. 2). You

will ﬁnd the battery compartment below (E).

• Remove a battery.

• Insert the battery ensuring that the polarity is cor-

rect and press and hold down the system button

(A) for 4 seconds at the same time, until the LED

will quickly start ﬂashing orange (see ﬁgure 3+7).

• Release the system button again.

• Press and hold down the system button again for

4 seconds, until the LED lights up green.

• Release the system button to ﬁnish the procedure.

The device will perform a restart.
