3 Function and device overview
The Homematic IP Water Sensor oers reliable detection
of moisture on various surfaces and water above a height
of 1.5 mm.
The presence of moisture or water is signalled immedi-
ately by the integrated siren and displayed in the Home-
matic IP app. What’s more, the integrated tilt sensor even
provides instant feedback in the event of the water sensor
being moved or manipulated.
The flexible device can be adapted to any installation site
thanks to its battery operation and test prods mounted
on spring bearings.
The sensitivity and trigger behaviour of the water sensor
can be individually adjusted using the Homematic IP app.
