Changing battery
Button “presence mode” (C):
The alarm function is activated, but movements in the
house are still possible.
Button “disarmed” (D):
The alarm function is deactivated.
Button “light” (E):
Switches individually defined lights with a brief button
press on or with a long button press o (e.g. in connec-
tion with the Homematic IP Pluggable Switch).
7 Changing battery
If the battery symbol is displayed via the app or an emp-
ty battery is indicated on the device (see sec. „8.5 Error
codes and flashing sequences“ on page 36), replace
the used battery by a new LR03/micro/AAA battery. Please
observe the correct battery polarity.
To replace the battery of the key ring remote control,
please proceed as follows:
• Open the battery compartment (H) at the rear
by pushing the battery compartment cover away
from the device. You will need to apply some
pressure to do this (see figure 2).
• This will open the catch and the battery compart-
ment cover can be opened (the cover remains
