Function and device overview
The alarm sounds are very loud and can damage
your hearing. During acoustic alarm, please keep
sucient distance to the siren and protect your
hearing.
The device is only intended for use within resi-
dential, business and commercial areas as well as
in small enterprises.
Using the device for any purpose other than that
described in this operating manual does not fall
within the scope of intended use and shall invali

date any warranty or liability.
3 Function and device overview
The Homematic IP Alarm Siren – outdoor is suitable for
loud and noticeable alarm inside and outside the house.
The alarm is carried out via a visual and/or acoustic signal
and is triggered in connection with a Homematic IP Win-
dow / Door Contact or Motion Detector, for example, if
your house is entered by unauthorized persons.
The acoustic alarm is triggered by two loud Piezo speak-
ers with 100 dB sound pressure level (at a distance of 1
meter). Five red LEDs (flash and signal lights) provide the
