Hinweise zur Anleitung 1 Hinweise zur Anleitung Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig, bevor Sie Ihr Homematic IP Gerät in Betrieb nehmen. Bewahren Sie die Anleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen auf! Wenn Sie das Gerät anderen Personen zur Nutzung überlassen, übergeben Sie auch diese Anleitung. Benutzte Symbole: Achtung! Hier wird auf eine Gefahr hingewiesen. Hinweis.
Gefahrenhinweise 2 Gefahrenhinweise Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Es enthält keine durch den Anwender zu wartenden Teile. Lassen Sie das Gerät im Fehlerfall von einer Fachkraft prüfen. Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Geräts nicht gestattet. Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug! Erlauben Sie Kindern nicht damit zu spielen. Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Plastikfolien/-tüten, Styroporteile etc.
Funktion und Geräteübersicht Die Alarmtöne sind sehr laut und können zu Gehörschäden führen. Halten Sie bei akustischem Alarm ausreichend Abstand zur Sirene und schützen Sie Ihr Gehör. Das Gerät ist nur für den Einsatz im Umfeld von Wohnbereichen, Geschäfts- und Gewerbebereichen sowie in Kleinbetrieben bestimmt. Jeder andere Einsatz, als der in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschriebene, ist nicht bestimmungsgemäß und führt zu Gewährleistungs- und Haftungsausschluss.
Funktion und Geräteübersicht Eine leistungsfähige Solarzelle sorgt in Verbindung mit einen NiMH-Akku für eine zuverlässige und autarke Stromversorgung. Bei Bedarf kann der Akku über die integrierte USB-Buchse aufgeladen werden. Dank mitgeliefertem Montagematerial und der FunkKommunikation lässt sich das Gerät flexibel außerhalb direkter Reichweite eines potenziellen Einbrechers montieren. Ein Sabotagekontakt, der bei Manipulation bzw. unbefugter Demontage anspricht, sorgt für zusätzliche Sicherheit.

Inbetriebnahme 5 5.1 Inbetriebnahme Anlernen Bitte lesen Sie diesen Abschnitt erst vollständig, bevor Sie mit dem Anlernen beginnen. Richten Sie zunächst Ihren Homematic IP Access Point über die Homematic IP App ein, um weitere Homematic IP Geräte im System nutzen zu können. Ausführliche Informationen dazu finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung des Access Points. Sie können das Gerät an den Access Point oder an die Zentrale CCU2/CCU3 anlernen.
Inbetriebnahme • Schieben Sie den Schalter (G) auf „ON“, um die Spannungsversorgung herzustellen und den Anlernmodus zu aktivieren (s. Abbildung 4). Die Geräte-LED (D) beginnt langsam orange zu blinken. Sie können den Anlernmodus manuell für weitere 3 Minuten starten, indem Sie die Systemtaste (D) kurz drücken (s. Abbildung 5). • • • • • • 14 Das Gerät erscheint automatisch in der Homematic IP App.
Inbetriebnahme 5.2 Verhalten nach dem Einschalten der Versorgungsspannung 3 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten des ON-/OFF-Schalters (G) wird der Zustand des integrierten Akkus über die Signalleuchten angezeigt: • • Ausreichende Batteriekapazität: alle Signalleuchten leuchten nacheinander und von links nach rechts kurz auf. Anschließend leuchten alle Signalleuchten gleichzeitig kurz auf. Unzureichende Batteriekapazität: die mittlere Signalleuchte blinkt schnell für 2 Sekunden.
Inbetriebnahme 5.3 Montage Achten Sie bei der Auswahl des Montageortes auf den Verlauf elektrischer Leitungen bzw. auf vorhandene Versorgungsleitungen. Sie können die Alarmsirene einfach mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübeln an einer Wand befestigen. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor: • Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Montageort aus.
Inbetriebnahme Sie können zum Anzeichnen der Bohrlöcher die beigefügte Bohrschablone verwenden. • • • • Bohren Sie die Löcher mit einem 6 mm Bohrer und stecken Sie die Dübel ein. Drehen Sie zwei der beiliegenden Schrauben in die oberen Dübel ein, so dass sie ca. 7 mm aus der Wand heraus stehen (siehe Abbildung 7). Hängen Sie die Montageplatte hinter den Schraubenköpfen ein. Befestigen Sie die Montageplatte durch Eindrehen der restlichen Schrauben in die unteren Dübel.
Akku per Ladekabel aufladen 6 Akku per Ladekabel aufladen Prüfen Sie bei einer geringen Akkukapazität zunächst, ob Sie einen geeigneten Montageort mit ausreichend Lichteinfall gewählt haben. Ist dies nicht der Fall, montieren Sie die Alarmsirene an einem anderen Standort. Alternativ können Sie den Akku über die Micro-USBBuchse (E) aufladen. Schalten Sie die Alarmsirene über den Schalter (G) aus (OFF), da sich die Alarmsirene, während des Ladevorgangs, nicht im normalen Betriebszustand befindet.
Fehlerbehebung mehr als 15 W liefern kann. Üblicherweise werden beide Forderungen von handelsüblichen Steckernetzteilen mit entsprechender Leistung erfüllt. 7 Fehlerbehebung 7.1 Befehl nicht bestätigt Bestätigt mindestens ein Empfänger einen Befehl nicht, leuchtet zum Abschluss der fehlerhaften Übertragung die Geräte-LED (D) rot auf. Grund für die fehlerhafte Übertragung kann eine Funkstörung sein (s. „11 Allgemeine Hinweise zum Funkbetrieb“ auf Seite 25).
Fehlerbehebung 7.2 Duty Cycle Der Duty Cycle beschreibt eine gesetzlich geregelte Begrenzung der Sendezeit von Geräten im 868 MHz-Bereich. Das Ziel dieser Regelung ist es, die Funktion aller im 868 MHz-Bereich arbeitenden Geräte zu gewährleisten. In dem von uns genutzten Frequenzbereich 868 MHz beträgt die maximale Sendezeit eines jeden Geräts 1 % einer Stunde (also 36 Sekunden in einer Stunde). Die Geräte dürfen bei Erreichen des 1 %-Limits nicht mehr senden, bis diese zeitliche Begrenzung vorüber ist.

Wiederherstellung der Werkseinstellungen 9 Wiederherstellung der Werkseinstellungen Die Werkseinstellungen des Geräts können wiederhergestellt werden. Dabei gehen alle Einstellungen verloren. Um die Werkseinstellungen der Alarmsirene wiederherzustellen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: • Wenn die Alarmsirene bereits montiert wurde, lässt sie sich einfach aus der Montageplatte nehmen. Drücken Sie die Lasche an der Unterseite der Montageplatte ein (ggf.
Wartung und Reinigung können Sie das Gerät wieder in Ihr Homematic IP System integrieren. 10 Wartung und Reinigung Das Gerät ist, bis auf ein eventuell erforderliches Laden des Akkus bei zu geringem Lichteinfall, wartungsfrei. Überlassen Sie eine Reparatur einer Fachkraft. Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, sauberen, trockenen und fusselfreien Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine lösemittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel, das Kunststoffgehäuse und die Beschriftung können dadurch angegriffen werden.
Allgemeine Hinweise zum Funkbetrieb 11 Allgemeine Hinweise zum Funkbetrieb Die Funk-Übertragung wird auf einem nicht exklusiven Übertragungsweg realisiert, weshalb Störungen nicht ausgeschlossen werden können. Weitere Störeinflüsse können hervorgerufen werden durch Schaltvorgänge, Elektromotoren oder defekte Elektrogeräte. Die Reichweite in Gebäuden kann stark von der im Freifeld abweichen.

All devices of the system can be configured comfortably and individually with the Homematic IP smartphone app.
Start-up 5 5.1 Start-up Teaching-in Please read this entire section before starting the teach-in procedure. First set up your Homematic IP Access Point via the Homematic IP app to enable operation of other Homematic IP devices within your system. For further information, please refer to the operating manual of the Access Point. You can connect the device either to the Access Point or to the Homematic Central Control Unit CCU2/CCU3.

Afterwards, all signal lights briefly light up all at once.
Start-up 5.3 Installation When selecting the installation location, check for electrical wires and power supply cables. You easily can mount the alarm siren to the wall using the supplied screws and plugs. To do this, please proceed as follows: • Choose a site for installation. In the outdoor area, the mounting location should be supplied with sufficient daylight and, if possible, high on a wall of the house so that the alarm siren can for example not be reached by a burglar.
Start-up • • • • Bore the 6 mm holes and insert the plugs. Turn two of the supplied screws into the upper plugs so that they protrude from the wall by approx. 7 mm (see figure 7). Attach the mounting plate behind the screw heads. Use the remaining screws and the lower plugs to fasten the mounting plate to the wall. Attach the alarm siren from above into the mounting plate and click the alarm siren into place.
Charge the battery via the charging cable 6 Charge the battery via the charging cable In case of a low battery capacity, please check whether you have chosen a suitable location with sufficient light. If this is not the case, mount the alarm siren at another location. Alternatively, you can charge the battery using the micro USB port (E) . Switch the alarm siren off (OFF) using the switch (G), as the alarm siren is not in normal operating state during charging.
Troubleshooting In order to ensure that the equipment is electrically safe, the feeding source must be a safety extra-low voltage. It must also be a source of limited power in accordance with EN60950 that cannot supply more than 15 W. Normally, both requirements are fulfilled by normal commercial plug-in power supplies with appropriate power. 7 Troubleshooting 7.
Troubleshooting 7.2 Duty cycle The duty cycle is a legally regulated limit of the transmission time of devices in the 868 MHz range. The aim of this regulation is to safeguard the operation of all devices working in the 868 MHz range. In the 868 MHz frequency range we use, the maximum transmission time of any device is 1% of an hour (i.e. 36 seconds in an hour). Devices must cease transmission when they reach the 1% limit until this time restriction comes to an end.

Restore factory settings 9 Restore factory settings The factory settings of the device can be restored. If you do this, you will lose all your settings. To restore the factory settings of the alarm siren, please proceed as follows: • If the alarm siren has already been installed, it can be easily removed from the mounting plate. Press down the lug at the bottom of the mounting plate (if necessary with a screwdriver) and remove the alarm siren from the mounting plate (see fig. 2).
Maintenance and cleaning 10 Maintenance and cleaning The device is maintenance-free, with the exception of charging the battery that may be necessary if the incidence of light is too low. Enlist the help of an expert to carry out any repairs. Clean the device using a soft, lint-free cloth that is clean and dry. Do not use any detergents containing solvents, as they could corrode the plastic housing and label.
General information about radio operation 11 General information about radio operation Radio transmission is performed on a non-exclusive transmission path, which means that there is a possibility of interference occurring. Interference can also be caused by switching operations, electrical motors or defective electrical devices. The range of transmission within buildings can differ greatly from that available in the open air.
