3 Function and device overview

The Homematic IP Switch Actuator for brand switches

enables the control of connected loads, such as lights,

using the integrated push-buttons, motion detectors or

remote controls as well as the free Homematic IP smart-

phone app.

Via integrated LED signal lights in the device, the

push-buttons can be illuminated white or with colour,

independently of each other. In this way, dierent func-

tions, such as a signal or orientation light, can be realised.

The colour and intensity of the LEDs can be speciﬁed

comfortably and individually via the Homematic IP app.

The device is installed into a ﬂush-mounted box or

replaces already existing switches, if a phase as well as a

neutral conductor are installed into ﬂush-mounted box.

Due to the design of the push-button in the dimensions

of 55 x 55 mm, existing frames of brand switch manufac-

turers can continue to be used.
