7 Replacing batteries
If an empty battery is displayed via the app or the device (see
„8.3 Error codes and flashing sequences“ on page 39), re-
place the used batteries by two new LR6/mignon/AA batteries.
You must observe the correct battery polarity.
To replace the batteries of the passage sensor, please proceed
as follows:
• Slightly press the catch on the side of the device and
remove the electronic unit (A) from the cover (E) to
open the battery compartment cover (C) (see fig. 3).
• Remove the empty batteries from the battery com-
partment (C).
• Insert two new LR6/mignon/AA batteries in the battery
compartment, observing the polarity shown (see fig. 6).
• Reattach the cover.
• Please pay attention to the flashing signals of the de-
vice LED while inserting the batteries (see „8.3 Error
codes and flashing sequences“ on page 39).
Once the batteries have been inserted, the passage sensor will
perform a self-test/restart (approx. 2 seconds). Afterwards, in-
itialisation is carried out. The test display (D) will indicate that
initialisation is complete: orange and green lighting.
