5.2 Mounting and installation
If you replace your conventional garage door
controller by the Homematic IP Garage Door
Controller you can continue to use your existing
wiring.
You can easily mount the garage door controller to the
wall with the supplied screws and plugs and use the ex-
isting wiring.
You can operate the garage door controller
• with the supplied batteries (see fig. 3),
• with a plug-in mains adapter (5-24 VDC)
