Start-up

For poorly reﬂecting surfaces (e.g. dark window /

door frames) the supplied reﬂecting sticker has to

be ﬁxed to the inner edge of the window / door

casement on the opposite of the infra-red sensor

(F) or the window / door contact.

5.2.2 Adhesive strip or screw mounting

You can mount the window / door contact with

• the double-sided adhesive strip or

• countersunk head screws

to the window / door frame.

Adhesive strip mounng

For mounting the window / door contact with the sup-

plied adhesive strip, please proceed as follows:

• Attach the double-sided adhesive strip to the

back of the electronic unit (B) and press the elec-

tronic unit onto the desired position of the win-

dow / door frame (see ﬁgure 6).

Make sure that the mounting surface is smooth,

solid, non-disturbed, free of dust, grease and sol-

vents and not too cold to ensure long-time ad-

herence.
