Application and Installation
• Temperature during application should be between
45º to 120º Fahrenheit. (7º to 40º Celsius).
• Roll or brush Homelux Primer on the prepared
substrate and allow to dry until tacky (about 10-15
minutes).
• The membrane should be laid edge to edge with
subsequent rows of membrane to ensure that a flat
surface is maintained. Do not overlap edges.
• Peel back 1" of the release film from the leading edge
of the membrane and apply this leading edge at the
starting point on the primed and tacky subfloor.
• Continue to peel back and remove short sections of
the film and apply the membrane to the subfloor.
• Chalk lines can then be marked on the white surface
of the membrane in preparation for your flooring
install.
• Use Boiardi Elastiment Thinset or equivalent mortar
meeting ANSI 118.4 and 108.5
• Finish with quality Boiardi Elastiment grout.
