Limitations
• Do not install product over cracks or control joints
subject to: out-of-plane movement; or in-plane
movement greater than 3/8" (10mm).
• Not for use over subfloors which contain asbestos or
over plank wood flooring, press wood, particleboard,
chipboard, OSB, pressure or oil-treated plywood,
Lauan plywood, Masonite, Self-stick tile, Laminate,
Metal or Fiberglass surfaces, poured Epoxy floors or
similar dimensionally unstable material.
• Not for use where excessive subfloor moisture is
present or when negative hydrostatic pressure exists.
• Not for use on vertical surfaces, under glass tile, as
a waterproofing membrane, for exterior installs or
anywhere water is present.
• Do not use self-leveling products over Homelux
PRO SOUND Underlayment and Crack Isolation
membrane.
• Install with Roberts 1331 Multipurpose Floor Primer
Note: The primer temperature range for the substrate
must be 40 degrees and rising.
Surface Preparation
• Subfloors must be structurally sound, dry, smooth,
flat, level and free of excess moisture/alkali and all
substances (oil, wax, grease, paint, oil based sealers,
etc.) that might interfere with the performance or
installation of the membrane.
• Use mechanical methods only to clean and remove
debris from the subfloor.

D-LUX PRO SOUND is a 130 mil internally reinforced peel and stick crack isolation membrane designed for thinset installations
of ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. This membrane underlayment provides moisture protection up to 5 lbs. moisture
vapor emission rate.
