D-LUX PRO SOUND is a Sound Control Underlayment and Crack Isolation Membrane. Its 130 mil internally
reinforced Peel & Stick sheet membrane was designed specifically for thin set installations of ceramic, porcelain and
natural stone tiles. This membrane underlayment provides moisture protection up to 5 lb. moisture vapor emission
rate, and the added antimicrobials minimize mold and mildew growth.
Due to the very high natural/SBS rubber content and its exclusive non-woven poly propylene fabric construction,
alkalinity in mortars are prevented from breaking down the system. This combination of materials also adds the
strength to withstand horizontal structural movement and concrete shrinkage cracks (up to 3/8"), preventing the
transfer of stress load to the tile which can lead to cracked and broken tiles.
