Battery Precautions
• Useonlythesizeandtypeofbatteriesspecified.
• Wheninstallingbatteries,observeproper+/-polarities.Incorrect
installationofbatteriesmaycausedamagetotheunit.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.
• Donotmixalkaline,standard(carbon-zinc),orrechargeable(ni-cad,
ni-mh,etc)batteries.
• Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothoseofthedevicepriortobattery
installation.
• Removeusedbatteriespromptly.
• Iftheunitisnotgoingtobeusedforalongperiodoftime,remove
batteriestopreventdamageduetopossiblebatteryleakage.
Battery Installation
1.Pressdownonlatchandliftthebatterycovertowardsyoutoopenthe
batterycompartment.
2.Installorreplace4“AA”sizedbatteriesinthebatterycompartment
accordingtotheindicationsinsidethecompartment.
3.Replacethebatterycoverbypushingstraightdownonthetopuntilit
clicksintoplace.
