Plug the transformer into a standard
110V AC electrical outlet.
Note: The green line status indicator on
the E-Jack connector illuminates when
the Controller has AC power.
Connecting a device to the E-Jack
The E-Jack connector on the Controller
allows you to connect existing inside wiring
or a single-line device such as a standard
telephone, FAX machine, modem, or
answering machine to the network.
In the case of a power outage along with
Controller battery failure, the E-Jack
provides a connection to the public
telephone network and allows the connected
device to communicate.
