IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Installation location
• Use this device in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
• Warning! Do not use this device near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp basement or beside a
swimming pool or bathtub.
• Keep this device away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing
devices/objects.
• Protect this device from extreme heat (over 35°C) and cold (under 5°C) as well as from direct sunlight and
dust.
Specific safety instructions
• Caution! Risk of injury! The cutting blades are very sharp. During operation keep finger, hair, clothing,
hanging jewellery and utensils away from the cutting blades to avoid injuries and damage of the device.
• Never touch the blades while the device is in operation.
• Turn the device on only once the blender wand is located deeply into the mixing bowl.
• Caution! Never use the device for mixing hot foods, liquids or hot oil.
• Only remove blender wand from the motor unit, if the cutting blades have come to a complete standstill and
the mains plug has been disconnected.
• Make sure the motor unit and the power cable do not get wet.
• The device must always be switched off and disconnected from the mains, before changing accessories or
additional parts.
• Do not cover or store a heated device. Pull the power plug and let it cool down completely.
• Clean the device and other accessories after each use. Refer to the Chapter CLEANING AND CARE.
