Open a slot that is 1/4” wide and 13/16” deep at the
bottom of the door with a router. This groove will be used
with the floor guide.
Drill the holes for the hanger according to the dimension
given in the picture. This distance from the top of the door to
the center of the upper hole is 1 5/8”. The distance from the
left (right) edge of the door to the left (right) edge of the
hanger is up to your choice. It should be at least be a
minimum of 1” away from the edge to prevent any
damage to your doors
Here is the formula to calculate the overlap space:
The overlap = 2* Distance from the left (right) edge of the
door to the left (right) edge of the hanger + 4 1/4”
For example, if you install each hanger 1” from the edge of
the door, the overlap is 2* 1” + 4 1/4” = 6 1/4”
Please follow the diagram above on how the hex bolt,
washers and nut should be installed on the door and
hangers. Do not install them any other way since it
may interferee with the function of the sliding system.
