Screw nipple assembly into motor cap using the
fittings shown in the photo at the right.
Always apply teflon tape or water-proof thread
sealent to prevent leaks
Place air bleed valve in the large hole in the metal
bracket.
Screw the two bolts on the motor cap through the
holes on the “arms” of the bracket. Leave the
bracket slightly loose and moveable
REMEMBER: The bolts on a motor cap are
frequently loctited and may need to be heated to be
removed.
Screw the air bleed valve into the top fitting of the
nipple assembly until the bottom surface of the
valve is flush with the bracket.
Align bolt holes in valve with bolt holes in bracket
and screw bolts completely through valve.
Put flat-sided washers and nuts on the end of the 5
bolts and tighten all loose nuts and bolts.
