Drain Method 2
(Releasing Water Through the Valve Stem)
To relieve the test water through
a hose, simply open the rotor valve
and drain the water through the
attached hose.

Drain Method 1
(Releasing Water Down the Stack)
To release water down the stack
following the test, rotate the fill/drain
stem several full rotations counter-
clockwise.

Fill Method 2
(Filling Through the Valve Stem)
Make sure the rotor valve is in the
open position. Fill the pipe stack
through the valve, then close the
rotor valve.

Fill Method 1
(Filling from Above)
Turn rotor valve to the closed
position, then fill the pipe stack.
Consider Pressure Direction
Always install Test Wedge with valve
into the Test/Cleanout Tee with the
pressure side up.
Wedge Fit
Always hand tighten (clockwise) the
fill/drain stem into the Test Wedge
until it is snug.
