♦ Users with hearings aids must note that radio signals of the
skeye.pad XSL may launch into hearing devices causing an
unpleasant noise.
1.1.2 Safety Notes for the Lithium-Ion Battery
♦ Use the battery for its intended purpose only.
♦ Do not immerse the battery in water or seawater and do not allow it
to get wet.
♦ Do not use or recharge near high temperature locations e.g. heating
elements or fire.
♦ Do not throw the battery into a fire or heat the battery.
♦ Do not recharge the battery close to a fire or in extremely hot
weather.
♦ Do not solder.
♦ Do not connect to cigar lighters or similar.
♦ Do not transport or store the battery together with metallic objects
such as hairpins or necklaces.
♦ Do not short-circuit the battery by connecting the positive and
negative poles with metallic objects such as a wire.
♦ Do not throw.
♦ Do not place the battery in the microwave or pressurised containers.
♦ Do not pierce or dismantle the battery with a nail or other sharp
object, hit it with a heavy object such as a hammer or step on it.
♦ Do not dismantle the battery or modify parts of the battery.
♦ Do not store within the reach of children.
♦ If the battery develops a leak and the chemicals get in the eye, do
not rub the eye, but rinse eye with plenty of running water and
consult a doctor immediately
.
♦ If the battery develops a leak and chemicals spill on clothes or skin,
rinse skin or clothes in running water to prevent contamination of the
skin.
