2.6 Switching Off the skeye.pad XSL

There are three ways to switch off your skeye.pad XSL:

• Suspend

• Automatic Standby (AutoOff)

• Complete power off by removing the storage battery

2.6.1 Suspend Mode

Suspending a device means that it is inactive and thus consumes

less power. A suspended skeye.pad XSL can be activated any time.

While suspending information in the RAM is maintained. If the

power supply is interrupted e.g. due to a discharged storage

battery, information in the RAM gets lost.

It is thus recommended that you store all current data prior to

suspending the skeye.pad XSL.

Suspending the skeye.pad:

1. Press the Power OFF button for a while

Tap Start in the task bar.

The "Start" menu opens up.

Run ...

2. Tap Suspend.

3. The skeye.pad XSL will be suspended in its current state. All

open windows, documents, workbooks etc are not closed but

maintained in the working memory.
