4.4 Resolving Printer Faults
Fault Solution
The receipt is not properly pushed out. Check that the paper roll is inserted
straight. If necessary, remove the paper
roll and refit it.
The skeye.pad POS stops midway during
printing and no longer responds.
The battery is almost empty and the
skeye.pad POS has interrupted printing.
Place the
skeye.pad POS on the desktop cradle to
charge it or replace the empty battery
with a charged one.
No out-of-paper message is issued at the
end of a paper role; it is still possible to
initiate printing.
Clean the "Out-of-Paper" sensor and the
paper compartment with a clean, dry and
lint-free cloth
(see Ch. 4.8.4, Page 41).
4.5 Replacing the Paper Roll for the Printer
When replacing the paper roll, avoid touching the paper cutter on the
skeye.pad POS. The paper cutter is fitted with sharp teeth that could easily
cut your fingers.
