a) The hot wind release nozzle, the tip of the nozzle and the material that was heated are
extremely hot during and immediately after using the tool, so use gloves and avoid touching
them directly.
b) Do not switch the tool on and o repeatedly. Also, do not use the tool with the power cord
folded or twisted. Failure to observe this may result in malfunctions.
c) Do not point the heat-wind release nozzle downwards immediately after use. Failure to
observe this may result in the tool overheating, leading to malfunctions.

OPERATION
WARNING: Always use this item with caution. Do NOT cover the ventilation
openings during use as this can cause overheating, possibly resulting in
malfunction or injury. Do not touch the hot nozzle.
This device is supplied as a small, hand held weed burner & BBQ lighter. It comes supplied with an
extension handle that can be attached for working the ground from a standing position and also to
give the user a longer reach.
OPTION 1: WEED KILLING
- Before use always make sure the machine, power cord and plug are undamaged and in good
working condition, make sure the nozzle is not blocked
- If you are using the long handle make sure it is securely connected before use
- Insert the plug into the socket
- Switch on the device by setting the switch to “I”.
- Allow the device about 2 minutes to warm up. Do NOT leave the device unattended while
switched on
- To eliminate weeds, hold the nozzle over the weeds for about 5 seconds. During these 5
seconds the cell structure of the weed is destroyed. As a result, the weed dies within a few
days
- It is not necessary to completely burn the weeds, 5 seconds is more than sufficient
- For an efficient treatment the nozzle should be held around 0 to 5 cm above the weeds
