FI RElink-25 incorpor ates a patented ‘artificial intelligenc e‘ k nown
as Classi Fire ®, which allows the detector to configure itself to
optimum sensit ivity, alarm thr eshol ds and minim um nuisance
alarms for any env ir onm ent.
ClassiFire intelli genc e also monitors the detector chamber and
dust separator for contam ination, cont inual ly adjusting the
appropriate operating par am eters to c ounteract the negative
effects of such contami nation.
The FI RE link range of det ect or s i s uni que in being able to provide
a consistent level of protection in a v ery wide r ange of
environments by continuously maki ng mi nor adjustments to
sensitivity .
The FI RE link range of det ect or s has proven its worth many t im es
by detecting ‘difficult- to-detect‘ sl ow growth elec trical overl oad
inc ipient fires in ‘difficult ‘ env ironments.
This handbook gives i nformation li k ely to be needed f or most

This equipment i s Class 111 as def ined i n E N60950 (i .e. , this
equipment is desi gned to operate from S afety Extra Low V oltages
and does not generat e any haz ar dous voltages).
NOTE: If this equipment is part of a fir e detecti on system, it should be suppl ied from an approved power
supply c onformi ng to EN 54- 4.
This sy mbol appears on the m ain boar d of the unit and indicates that t he boar d
cont ains stati c sensit ive component s. S uitable anti- static precautions must be
tak en when handling the board.

This label is located on the l aser chamber and signifies that the unit is a Cl ass 1
Laser product as specifi ed in IE C 60825- 1. The unit incorporat es a Cl ass 3B
em bedded laser whi c h m ust not be removed from the detector as retinal
dam age may result if the laser beam ent er s the ey e.
