planned tim e regardless of the conditi on of the separat or , although degradat ion of the separator to below
80% eff i c iency before this date wi ll override this. S ee sect ion 8, “ M aintenance” f or further detail s.
2.8.5 Factory Default
Enabling this func tion will reset each programmable function to the default va lue indicated in the text,
where a def ault setting is specified. It will also put the detector into FastLearn mode, regardl ess of
whether or not A uto Fastlearn is enabled (see section 2.2.7). This ensures that the flow setups and alarm
thr eshol ds are opt imi sed t o the det ec tor’s wor k ing environm ent after resett ing. It should be not ed that
where a Classi Fire al arm f actor other than the def ault is required for the pr otected area, this will need to
be re-entered. Section 2.2.4 gives details of the Cl assiF ire alarm factor s.
2.9 Other Remote Software Features
2.9.1 Reset
If latching alarms (see section 2.4. 3) or l atching faults (see section 2.4.4) are enabled, the relevant alarm
or fault warnings will remain on the detector front panel LEDs and contr olling unit until a reset is
performed. If using SenseNET software, individual detect or s can be reset ( r efer to the SenseNET User
Guide for details). I n the rem ote soft ware, a global reset i s availabl e whic h r esets al l detector s on the
SenseNET loop, or a singl e st and- alone detector.
To perform a reset, either select the menu opti ons Opti ons > Global Reset or cli ck the button on the
toolbar as indicated below:
2.9.2 Histogram Screen
The histogram screen sho ws vari ous aspects of the detect or function. To enter the histogram screen,
either select t he m enu options View > Hist og ram V iewer, or cli c k the button on the toolbar as i ndi c ated
below:
