Not recommended for inexperienced pilots.
1. Make sure your landing gear is properly
installed and is securely in the slot on
the fuselage before you attempt takeoff.
2. Stand behind the Firebird Freedom
™
and
point it directly into the wind on smooth
asphalt or concrete.
3. Apply full power and adjust the right
control stick as necessary to keep the
Firebird Freedom headed directly
into the wind.
4. If the battery is fully charged, the Firebird
Freedom should lift off the ground
in approximately 12 meters.
Apply some UP elevator by pulling the stick back,
and the plane will lift off of the ground in a shorter
distance. Remember, only a small amount of UP
is needed. Too much will result in a stall after the
plane has left the ground.

Schritt 13. Bodenstart
Für unerfahrene Piloten nicht zu empfehlen.
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Fahrwerk richtig montiert ist und fest im Rumpf sitzt,

2. Stellen Sie sich hinter Ihren Firebird Freedom
™
und stellen Sie diesen direkt
in den Wind auf einer ebenen Beton- oder Asphaltstrecke.
3. Geben Sie Vollgas und halten Sie die Rumpfspitze des Firebird Freedom
mit dem rechten Knüppel direkt im Wind.
4. Wenn der Akku voll geladen ist, sollte der Firebird Freedom nach ca.
12 m abheben.
Ziehen kurz am Höhenruder und das Modell hebt vom Boden ab. Beachten Sie,
dass Sie nur einen kleinen Ruderausschlag geben, denn ein großer Ausschlag
kann zum Strömungsabriss und damit zum Absturz führen.

Paso 13. Despegue en pista

1. Compruebe que el tren de aterrizaje esté correctamente instalado y firme-
mente encajado en la ranura del fuselaje antes de intentar despegar.
2. Permanezca detrás del Firebird Freedom
™
y diríjalo directamente hacia el
aire sobre asfalto u hormigón.
3. Aplique plena potencia y ajuste la palanca de control derecha según proceda
para mantener el Firebird Freedom encarado directamente hacia el aire.
4. Si la batería está totalmente cargada, el Firebird Freedom debe elevarse
del suelo después de 12 m, aproximadamente.
Haga subir un poco el elevador tirando del mando hacia atrás, y el avión
despegará del suelo recorriendo una distancia más corta. Recuerde: sólo se
necesita subir el elevador un poco. Si lo sube demasiado podrá provocar una
pérdida de sustentación cuando el avión deje de tener contacto con el suelo.

2. Se placer debout derrière le Firebird Freedom
™
après l’avoir posé sur la
piste goudronnée ou en béton et face au vent.
3. Mettre les gaz à fond et maintenir le Firebird Freedom face au vent avec
le manche droit de l’émetteur.
4. Si la batterie est complètement chargée, votre Firebird Freedom décollera
sur approximativement 12 mètres.
Mettre un peu de profondeur en tirant sur le manche et le modèle doit décoller
sur une courte distance. Un mouvement trop important du manche peut mettre le
modèle dans une vrille après le décollage.

Freedom controvento.
4. Se la batteria è completamente carica, il Firebird Freedom dovrebbe sol
levarsi da terra in 12 metri.
Dando un po’ di cabra tirando indietro lo stick della trasmittente, il modello si
staccherà dalla pista in uno spazio più breve. Ricordarsi che serve solo un po’ di
comando, dandone troppo il modello stalla appena staccatosi dal terreno.
