Congratulations on your purchase of the
Aerial Drop Module. This module will add
even more fun and excitement to your
X-Port equipped HobbyZone
®
aircraft
by allowing you to drop either streamer
bombs or a parachute jumper (both
included).
Here’s how it works:
Once the battery is plugged into the fuse-
lage, an electromagnet is used to hold
the bomb or parachute jumper in place
until you have reached the designated
area. When you’re ready, activate the
release mechanism.*
Before you attempt to use the ADM,
you must carefully read the following
instructions.
* Fighterbird and FB Commander -
to activate, pull down on left stick
(throttle) for one second, release
to neutral

ADM Attachment and Testing
•Plug the ADM into the X-port the side of
the fuselage.
Clip the ADM into the slot on the bottom
of the fuselage (see the drawing below).
Make certain it is secured properly
or the ADM may slip off the fuselage
in flight, causing the aircraft to fly
awkwardly.
•Turn the transmitter on.
Plug the battery into the airplane. Stay
clear of the propeller. Arm the motor.
Attach magnet-to-magnet housing as
shown.
Note: Because the ADM uses an electro-
magnet, the battery pack needs to be
plugged in. If this is not done, the magnet
will not function.
Test the ADM by activating the release.*

Preparing the Streamer Bomb
or Parachute jumper
•Turn the transmitter on.
Plug the battery into the airplane.
Make certain the ADM is properly
secured to the fuselage. Arm the motor.
Choose either the bomb or parachute
jumper, then carefully fold up as shown
(drawings A & B) and secure properly
inside the ADM.
Note: This is very important in order
to make sure that your bomb or para-
chute jumper will release upon command.
Note: Commander pilots may use the
power up sequence in the manual to
select EXPERT MODE if desired.
