Regulators and valves
• Pressuregovernorsmusthaveaxedpressureof30mbar.
TheregulationsinEN12864,AppendixD,applyaccordingly.
Thepressuregovernorsmusthaveaminimumowrateof
1.2hx/h.
• Carefullyattachthehigh-pressurehoseonthebottlebyhand
(note: left-handed thread).Donotusespanners,pincers
orsimilartools.
• Ifthetemperatureisbelow5ºC,usethede-frostingfacility
(ice-ex)forregulators.
Theoperatingpressureforgasis30mbar.
Operating the cooker
• Whenoperatingthecooker,theskylightorthewindow
mustbeopen.
• Theoperatingleversofgasdevicesthatmustbepressed
toignitewhenturnedon,mustspringbackbythemselves
afterbeingpressed.
Cookers or other devices that use air from indoors for
combustionmayneverbeusedtoheatthevehicle.Ifthis
isignoreditcouldcausemortaldanger,duetothelackof
oxygenandthepossibledevelopmentofodorlesscarbon
monoxide.
Waste gas
• Thewastegaspipemustbeattachedrmlyandimpenetrably
totheheatingandthechimney.Itmaynotbedamagedin
anyway.
• Waste gas must be passed out without obstruction and
freshair must bepassed in without obstruction. Forthis
reason,theremaybenosnowwallsorskirtsdirectlynext
tothevehicle.Theintakeopeningsontheunderbodyofthe
vehiclemustbekeptclearandclean.
Before initial operation
• Keepallventsclear.
• Removeanysnowfromchimney.
• Clear aspirating holes for combustion air underneath the
vehicleofdirtand/orsnow.Otherwise,thewasteairmight
haveaCOcontentthatishigherthanallowed.
• Thesafetyventsmustnotbeclosed.
• Never use portable cookers or heating devices, except
electricheatingdevices,butnotradiantheaters,because
theycancauseareorsuffocation.
