Operation Manual
08-6
The refrigerators used in the camper are from the
manufacturers Electrolux and Thetford. Note the
separate user's guide from the manufacturers of
these devices.
Methods of operation
The refrigerator can be operated in three diffe-
rent ways:
- 12 V operation: electrical supply from the bat-
tery of the base vehicle (ignition lock on),
- 230 V operation: electrical supply from an
external source,
- Liquid gas: gas bottles from the camper.
12 V operation
The 12 V operation should only be used during
the drive when the motor of the base vehicle is
running. Shut off 12 V operation during breaks
and long stopovers to conserve power in the
battery of the base vehicle.
Do not operate the refrigerator on
gas during the drive! Danger of ex-
plosion!
Operation:
• Shut off gas operation, if necessary.
• Set the switch (1) to position 1. If voltage is
present, the switch will light up in red.
230 V operation
Before rst use:
• Check to see if the voltage of the connection
in the camper or at the campsite corresponds
to that indicated on the type sign.
• Shut off gas operation, if necessary.
• Shut off 12 V operation, if necessary. To do
this, set the switch (1) to position 0.
Operation:
• Set the turning knob on the thermostat (3) to
the highest level.
• Set the switch (2) to position 1. If voltage is
present, the switch will light up in green.
