Leveling the Scale
On the left side of the Console is a Level Indicator. When the
bubble inside is directly in the center of the circle, the scale is level.
There are four Scale Feet located underneath the scale system. You
may need to adjust these feet slightly in the event the scale is not
sitting properly. Proper adjustment of these feet helps you maintain
the scale’s balance and is required when using the scale as Legal for
Trade.
To level the scale:
1. Locate the Level Indicator on the left side of the
Console.

2. Adjust Scale Feet till bubble
is centered
2. Adjust the Scale Feet by turning clockwise or
counterclockwise as necessary until the bubble is
in the middle of the Level Indicator.
Electrical Connections
The World Scale comes standard with a Battery Pack, which uses
six D-cell batteries.

Tip
• When the Battery Symbol flashes on the
display, you must replace the batteries.
• When not using the World Scale for a length of
time, it is best to place the World Scale in Sleep
mode to extend the life of the batteries. See
Sleep/Wake Modes in this chapter.
