Understanding the
World Scale

Features
The World Scale is a durable, compact weighing device. Two
digital displays show the Weight, Unit Price and Total Price to the
Operator and Customer at the same time. The scale can calculate
the value of either By Weight or By Count items and can
accumulate the Total Price for multiple items.

Power Source
Powered by six D-cell batteries, the World Scale gives you the
power to use your scale in most trading situations.
PLU Options
The World Scale (WC30 only) offers 30 PLUs as standard –
including seven SpeedKeys which may be used with a “quick-set”
feature for top-selling items. These seven Speedkeys may be user-
defined. All 30 PLUs may be password-protected if set up in
Supervisor mode.
Capacity
The World Scale comes configured from the factory as a
30-lb x 0.005 resolution scale. For other capacities and resolutions
that can be configured, contact your local Hobart Representative.
