Using Tare (WC30)
You have the following options available on your WC30 Price
Computing Scale:
♦ Platter Tare (WC30)
♦ Cumulative Tare (WC30)
♦ Retaining a Tare (WC30)
♦ Cancelling a Retained Tare (WC30)
♦ Keypad-Entered Tare (WC30)

Note
• If you have a Tare in the scale’s memory and the scale goes
into Sleep mode, the Tare will be lost.
• When you have a Tare in the World Scale’s memory, you will
see a left arrow (

) on the left side of the Operator Display
Screen, next to the word “net”.
Platter Tare (WC30)
Use Platter Tare when you are weighing one type of product, one
time.
To use Platter Tare:
1. Place the empty container onto the scale.
2. Short PRESS the [TARE] key.
3. Place the product into the empty container on the
scale.
4. TYPE the Unit Price using a Short PRESS on the
Keypad.
5. The screen will display Net Weight, Unit Price
and Total Price.

3. Place product into container

5. Net Weight, Unit Price and
Total Price display
6. Remove product and
container
6. Remove the product and container from the scale.
