2-9 Getting Started
Installing the Battery Pack
To install the Battery Pack:
1. Remove the Weighing Platter.
2. Open the Battery Access Cover by pressing slightly and pulling
upward.
3. Remove the Battery Pack.
4. Insert six D-cell Batteries into the Battery Pack. Be sure to
observe the polarity on the Battery Pack.
5. Securely attach the Battery Connector to the Battery Pack.
6. Insert the Power Jack into the Mating Connector at the back of
the Battery Recess.
7. Replace the Battery Pack in the Battery Recess.
8. Replace the Battery Access
Cover.
