II. Hardware
1.Power Button: Press the Power Button to power on/off the router.
2.LED Button: Press the LED Button to light on/off the LED indica-
tor lights.
3.Wi-Fi Button: Press the Wi-Fi Button to startup/shutdown the rout-
er’ s Wi-Fi.
4.Reset Pinhole: Keep stick the Reset Pinhole for more than 10
seconds, the product will restore factory settings.
5.DC Port: The DC Port can connect to the power.
6.WAN Port: The WAN Port can connect this router to the internet.
7.LAN Port: There are 4 LAN Ports in total. The LAN Ports can con-
nect wired devices such as computers or switches.
8.USB Port: The USB Port is used to connect devices that support
USB 3.0, and can also support USB 2.0.
9.Power LED Indicator:
• Solid green: The device is ready.
• Off: Power is not supplied to the router.
10.WAN LED Indicator:
• Solid green: WAN port has been connected with network cable.
• Blinks green: WAN port has data transmission.
• Off: The router is not connected to the internet.
11.LAN LED Indicator:
• Solid green: LAN port has been connected with network cable.
• Blinks green: LAN port has data transmission.
• Off: The router is not connected to the LAN.
12.2.4G LED Indicator:
• Solid green: There are devices connected to the 2.4G band of
the router.
• Off: There are no device connected to the 2.4G band of the
router.
13.5G LED Indicator:
• Solid green: There are devices connected to the 5G band of the
router.
• Off: There are no device connected to the 5G band of the
router.
14.USB LED Indicator:
• Solid green: U disk has been inserted.
• Off: No U disk has been inserted.

2.Q: How can I reset the router?
A: Method 1: When the power is on, sting the router's "Reset" pin-
hole for 10 seconds to restore the factory settings.
Method 2: Please log in to the management page (IP address is
“192.168.0.1” ) and click the “Management>>System Admin>>Sys-
tem” , then click on “Restore Factory” button to restore the factory
setting.
3.Q: How can I change my admin password?
A: Plea se log in to the managem ent page ( IP a ddress is
“192.168.0.1” ) and click the “Management>>System Admin” . In
this interface, you can change the admin password.
4.Q: How to change my network name and password?
A: Plea se log in to the managem ent page ( IP a ddress is
“192.168.0.1” ) and click the ” Settings>>Wireless” . In this
interface, you can change your network name and password.
5.Q: How can I select my connection type?
A: Plea se log in to the managem ent page ( IP a ddress is
“192.168.0.1” ) and click the “Settings>>Internet” . In this Interface,
you can choose your connection type.
III. FAQ
1.Q: Why can’ t I log in to the web UI of the router?
A: Step 1: Please confirm that your devices connect to the
HNK-AX1800 router.
Step 2: Please confirm if your IP address is “192.168.0.1” .
Step 3: Please confirm both the user name and password is
“admin” .

Step 3: Configure your internet connection
Please select your Internet connection type.
Note: The password you entered in this step is not the Wi-Fi pass-
word, it is the password for the router’ s management interface. If
you cannot log into the web UI of the router, refer to the Q1 in
FAQ.
Step 2: Open the configuration wizard page
If this is the first time using the router, the page will automatically
jump to the configuration wizard page. If the configuration wizard
page doesn’ t show up, you can click the “Settings>>Wizard” for
your initial setup.
I. Set up the new router for internet access
Step 1: Enter the IP address.
1.Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is
connected to the network.
2.Enter 192.168.0.1 to open a login window.
3.In the Password field, type the password to log into the manage-
ment interface. The default admin password is empty.
Step 5: Set your device admin password
By default, your new device does not have a password configured
for administrator access to the Web-based configuration utility. To
secure your new device, please create a password below.
Step 6: Check out the setting summary and finish initial setting
A setting summary will show up to you for checking. If everything is
okay, click on “Next” to finish the initial setting steps.
Guest Network
1.Please log in to the management page. The IP address is
“192.168.0.1” .
2.Click “Settings>>Wireless>>Guest Zone” to the guest network
setting page.
3.Configure the settings for your guest, including time limit, internet
resources, 2.4GHz settings.
4.Click on the “Save” button to save your configuration settings.
Then you can separate your network route to your guest.
5.If you want more settings of the dual band, click on “Advance Set
tings” . Then the advance settings interface will show on.
6.Click on the “Save” button to save your configuration settings.
Dual Band Settings
1.Please log in to the management page. The IP address is
“192.168.0.1” .
2.Click “Settings>>Wireless” to the wireless setting page.
3.Turn off the “Smart Connect” button, then show on the dual band
settings.
4.Configure the router 2.4G or 5G Wi-Fi SSID and password.
Step 4: Set up your Wi-Fi
To setup a Wi-Fi network you need to give your Wi-Fi network a
name(SSID) and password.
