Time as a factor:
Please note that only a long-term result counts. Short-term changes of your
weight within a few days are absolutely normal and are often due to changes
of the content of water. Only middle-term or long-term changes are related
to the content of your adipose or your muscles. In case your weight decreases
for a short time and the content of the adipose of your body increases or
stays the same you only lost water (e.g. after a physical exercise or after
having visited a sauna). If your weight increases in the medium term and your
content of adipose decreases or stays the same you might have build up more
muscle mass.
Note: Adipose, content of water or muscle mass may not be added because
the muscle tissue also contains components of water.
IV. Miscellaneous
Maintenance
• Please clean your device regularly by a damp cloth. Do not use caustic
cleaning solutions. Do not put the device under fluent water.
• Protect the device from impacts, humidity, dust, chemicals or fluctuations
of temperature. Do not store near heat sources such as ovens or heating
installations.
• NEVER take the scale to pieces by yourself. In this case the warranty will
not be valid anymore. Only the manufacturer or the authorized trader
is allowed to repair the scale. Please check the batteries before any
complaint and change them if necessary.
