6.1.13 Priority Setting
Thanks to this function, the operation mode and the temperature
settings of the indoor units belonging to the same refrigerant
cycle can be set from a specic remote controller (the main
one), without having to use a central controller.
The settings on the sub controllers can be decided by the priority
setting from the main controller. Power saving details are set
only from the main controller.

? NOTE
• The factory default “Priority Setting” is: “Not available”. This can be
set in “Priority Setting” in the Test Run menu.
• It is not possible to set a priority for setting temperature only. When
operation mode is set as “priority”, and operation mode in MAIN is
set in Auto Cool/Heat then operation mode change is pos sible in all
indoor units under auto Cool/Heat control.
• When using 2 remote controllers on the same indoor unit, it is not
possible to set priority
• This function cannot be used in case that any of the following devices
is connected to the same refrigerant cycle:
- Outdoor unit or indoor unit not supporting power saving functions.
- Receiver Kit.
- Central Station, CS-NET Manager and BMS gateways.
- A remote controller with activated function for xed operation mode
(b5), xed setting temperature (b6) or xed cooling-only (b7).
- Cooling/Heating CH-Box.
Set Operation Mode and Temperature Priority
1 Select “Installation Menu” on the Service & Installation
screen and press “OK”.
2 Select “Priority Setting” and press”OK”.
3 Press “
” or “ ” to change in order the “No Setting” ↔
“Operation Mode” ↔ “Operation Mode + Set Temp”. Select
the setting and press “OK” to display the conrmation
screen.
4 Press “
” to return to the Installation Menu.
6.1.14 Cancel Preheating Control
To cancel preheating control for compressor.
1 Select “Cancel Preheating Control”on the “Installation Menu”
screen and press “OK”.
2 Select “Yes” and press “OK”.
3 When “Cancel” is selected, the screen returns to the
“Installation Menu”.
? NOTE
It is not recommended to cancel the compressor preheating control in
normal operation, as the compressor may be damaged. This function
shall be used only in case of maintenance operation carry out by technical
specialist or Hitachi Service team.
