FIRST TIME INSTALLATION

can select Normal 4:3 or Widescreen 16:9 if you have a
widescreen TV.
Set the TV type with “ ” keys and press OK .You

MAIN MENU
Main menu is accessed by pressing
the MENU key on the remote
control.
Ø Navigate with “5// 6” keys among
the menus and press OK to activate
menus.
Ø The list of the programmes,
Channel List, Electronic
Programme Guide, Timers,
Recordings Library and Setup
menu are reached from main menu.
Ø Press BACK to come out of the
menu without saving the changes.
Press MENU button to save the
changes and exit. In all menus,
there is an information banner at the
bottom of the screen. These are
functions that can be applied in the
menu.
Ø Automatic channel scan window appears and the unit
starts to search for channels.

Ø Choose the HDMI resolution. If you intend just using
the Scart output then just press OK and continue.
Connect all cables before plugging in to mains.
When the Digital TV Recorder is first powered up
please wait for the software and hard disk drive to
initialise before activating the receiver. Once
initialised, the unit enters first time installation mode.
This Digital TV Recorder can only receive and record
Digital Terrestrial TV (Freeview) signals.
Please check that
you are in a Digital TV reception area. The FREEVIEW
service is subject to coverage. An aerial upgrade may be
required. Text your postcode followed by your house name
or number to 83331* or go to www.freeview.co.uk
(*Costs no more than a normal text). Please check that all
the following accessories are included and then insert the
batteries in the remote control, ensuring that they are the
correct way round.
NOTE: The receiver will tune in all available channels
in your area and then put them in the correct order.
