REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION AND

REPLACEMENT

Open the battery cover of the remote transmitter by

pushing the notched part of the cover with your

fingers.

Insert new =AA" size (SUM-3) batteries or equiva-

lent for the Genius Remote. When replacing old

batteries, push them towards the springs and lift

them out.

Matchthe (+) and(-) marksinthebatterycompart-

ment.

CAUTIONS

1. Ifyourtelevisionsetisto remainunusedfor a longperiod oftime, forinstance,when yougo on a vacation,

unplugthetelevisionsetfrom the wall outlet.

2. Do notallow the Remotetransmitterto shockssuchas droppingit onthe floor,etc. Precisionpartsmay be

damaged.

3. Do notallowtheremotetransmittertobecome wet andavoidplacingitin areasof highhumidity.Don'tleave

iton or near a heater. Excessheat or moisturemay causetheunitto ceaseoperation.

4. Ifthe batteriesbecome exhausted,Remotecontroloperationmay becomeerraticorstopaltogether.Replace

the oldbatterieswith fresh "AA"(SUM-3) types.

NOTES

1. When thepowerbuttonisset toOFF, the OFF TIMER isreleased.

2. The channelNo. indication,volumeindicationand OFF TIMER indicationare notdisplayedsimultaneously.

3. To operate yourTV, pointthe Remote transmitteratthe remotesensoroftheTV.
