HISCO’s Closed Back Blades
are stamped from a single piece of steel
and the hollow back, known as the “frog”,
is welded closed with a steel plate to
reduce soil build-up and add strength.
Blades have forward turned steps for
secure and comfortable foot place-
ment. Handles are attached with a
single rivet and feature a reinforc-
ing metal collar at neck.

Solid Shank Premium Blades are forged from a single
bar of steel, the solid neck and blade of these tools are extremely
durable. Fiberglass handles are attached with rivet and reinforcing
metal collar for increased strength. Non-shouldered Ash handles
with these blades feature double rivets.
Designed for heavy-duty industrial and contractor use, these
tools are sure to perform on the most demanding job sites.
