Super Saver Bunsen Jet Page 6 of 18
The Super-Saver Bunsen Jet radiant brooder uses a reliable hot surface ignition system to ignite the burner.
The Bunsen styled burner’s flame impinges on the surface of the cast ceramic element. The heat is then
transferred to the livestock in the form of radiant heat and convection heat.
All controls are located on the gas inlet side of the controls enclosure. There is only one control switch,
with an on and off position. Place the switch in the on position to start brooder, and place the switch in the
off position to shut the brooder down.
5. Use of equipment
This radiant brooder is designed to heat agricultural enclosures. The unit may be used in conjunction
with a thermostat or as part of an environmental control system with an electronic controller.
